Couloir Dérobé (the undressed couloir?)  with Ian Hough - Pic Coolidge, les Ecrins

The money shot traversing out to Peak 3343 on the NE shoulder of Pic Coolidge. The Mont Pelvoux is the
big daddy across the way. 

As the name might suggest, it's hard to get a good look at the line from top to bottom. We summited the smaller peak on the left. Pic Coolidge (3775m) is up and right, and would have involved at least another four hours of ridge climbing.

 sustained 50° with
 a couple of cruxes
thrown in here and there.

Dwarfed would be an understatement... our little tent dominated by the south face of the Barre des Ecrins (4101m) --
potentially a project for this summer??
